Hi, I'm Daniel.
I’m a Cheminformatics Software Engineer at Elsevier, based in the Frankfurt Rhein-Main area, Germany. With a PhD in computational biophysics and countless hours of staring at code across jobs, research, and personal projects, I specialized in building research software and data infrastructure.
My past work includes the research of ion channels, molecular dynamics simulations, and the development of FAIR data infrastructure for biodiversity research.
Beyond my work, I’m passionate about custom mechanical keyboards and care about transparent democracy and digital rights.
